New hosts added to ESET Secure Authentication backend - edit firewall exclusions

Authors list

This is to let you know that we recently added more hosts to the ESET Secure Authentication backend.

The change should be transparent for most users, but those with strict firewall rules (deny unless whitelisted) may need to allow communication to additional IP addresses (the same applies if they use specific DNS rules to only allow individual hosts), otherwise they may experience issues communicating with ESA services.

The change is already reflected in KB332.

The newly added entries are the following:

  • 91.228.165.162 (h1-esa01.eset.com)
  • 91.228.165.163 (h1-esa02.eset.com)
  • 91.228.165.164 (h1-esa03.eset.com)
  • 91.228.165.166 (h1-esa04.eset.com)
