Solution

You will experience this issue if you did not add the ESET Security for Microsoft SharePoint (ESHP) license file (SharePointsecurity.lic) during installation. This license file was attached to the email that you received from ESET after purchasing ESHP. To add your license file to ESHP and enable full functionality of your product, follow the steps below.

  1. Locate your ESET-issued, ESHP license file (SharePointsecurity.lic). I lost my license.

  2. Click Start  All Programs  ESET  ESET Security → ESET Security to open the main program window.

  3. Press F5 to access Setup.

  4. Expand Miscellaneous, click Licenses and then click Add.
