Issue
- Modify the email types to which "This message was checked" notification tags are applied for all users on your network with ESET Remote Administrator, or on individual client workstations
Solution
- Open ESET Remote Administrator Console by clicking Start → All Programs → ESET → ESET Remote Administrator Console → ESET Remote Administrator Console.
- Click Tools → Policy Manager.
- Select the policy you want to modify and click Edit Policy.

- Select Append tag messages to received and read email. Select your desired option from the Value drop-down menu.

- Click Console→ Yes. These settings will be applied to client workstations assigned to this policy the next time they check into ESET Remote Administrator.

Open ESET Endpoint Security or ESET Endpoint Antivirus. How do I open my ESET product?

Press the F5 key to access the Advanced setup window.

Expand Web and email, click Email client protection.

Use the Append tag messages to received and read email drop-down menu to adjust your settings. In the example below, To infected email only has been selected, meanining a message will only be appended to email messages that are infected. Click OK to save your changes.
