• Unable to execute a push installation from ESET Remote Administrator (ERA) using command line options

Solution

You might need to run the installation on the client workstation manually, using the following command line option:

location\installerfile.msi /qn

For example: 

c:\nod32\eav_nt32_enu.msi /qn


If, after running this command, a pop-up notification appeared, download and install the latest Windows Installer Redistributable corresponding to the machine you are pushing the ESET product package to.

• Download Windows Installer Redistributable

After installing WIR, restart the target client workstation and attempt the push installation again.
