ESET recommends that you only enable pre-release updates in situations when a pre-release update will resolve an issue you are having with your ESET product. Once you have received the update that resolves your issue, we recommend that you revert back to regular updates.

Enable pre-release updates using ESET Remote Administrator

1. Open the ESET Configuration Editor by clicking Start → All Programs → ESET → ESET Remote Administrator Console → ESET Configuration Editor.

1. Expand Windows product line v3 and v4 → Update module → Profile → Settings and then click Pre-release updates.

1. Select the check box next to Value.

1. Open ESET Smart Security Business Edition or ESET NOD32 Antivirus Business Edition. How do I open my ESET product?

2. Press the F5 key to open Advanced setup.

3. Click Update and then click Setup.

4. Select the check box next to Enable pre-release updates and then click OK. Click OK again to exit Advanced setup.
