Issue

• Cannot create a new installation package
• Saving installation package fails with error code 80007

Solution

If you get the error message of "An error occurred while saving the package to the server. Maybe it exceeded the setting ‘Maximum size of install packages’.”, when trying to create an installation package in ESET Remote Administrator version 5.3, follow the steps below.

1. Open the ESET Remote Administrator Console (ERA Console) and click Tools → Server Options.

2. Click the Advanced tab → Edit Advanced Settings.

3. Expand Remote Administrator → ERA Server → Settings → Remote Install, select Maximum size of install packages (Mbytes), type 150 into the Value field and then click Save.
