• Use ESET Remote Administrator to scan specific client workstations for malware, or perform a scan on an individual client workstation

Solution

Scan client workstations using ESET Remote Administrator

1. Open the ESET Remote Administrator Console by clicking Start → All Programs → ESET → ESET Remote Administrator Console → ESET Remote Administrator Console.

1. Select the client workstations you want to scan, right-click, and click New Task → On-Demand Scan.

2. Configure your scan in the On-Demand Scan window and click Next (in this example, the scan will run using the default settings).

3. In the Select Clients window, make sure the correct client workstations are selected and click Next.

4. In the Task Report window, review the details of this task and then click Finish.

Scan individual client workstations

• Click Tools → Log files.

• Select Computer scan from the Log drop-down menu. Double-click the line representing the most recently completed scan. A new Computer scan window will appear and display the scan log details.
