This article refers to upgrading DESlock+ which is standalone, for managed clients please refer to KB203 - How to upgrade DESlock+ (managed)

To upgrade your standalone version of DESlock+, you can either:

Upgrade from your DESlock+ software by right clicking on the DESlock+ icon in the notification area in the bottom right hand corner of your screen and then from the context menu click About DESlock+.

This will open the DESlock+ about window from where you will see a Check For updates button. Clicking this will check with the DESlock+ server to ensure that the version of DESlock+ you have installed is the latest version. If not, it will ask if you would like to upgrade to the latest version.

Upgrade manually by visiting the DESlock+ downloads page and download the latest version. Once downloaded, the .msi can be run and the software will be installed over the top of your existing version of DESlock+.
