All managed and unmanaged deployments of ESET Endpoints with regular online connectivity can now update to the newer version using Auto-updates/uPCU technology as part of the full release phase.
To receive the update, ensure the "Update type" under the update profile is configured accordingly.
The custom server for uPCU must be blank for the update to work. In centrally managed environments, make sure your ESET PROTECT configuration uses the appropriate update type for the release channel.
The rollout entered the full release phase on August 13th, 2026, enabling manually triggered update requests from the console and endpoint. From August 27th, 2026, the release window will continue with controlled progress (50% serving ratio), before serving all requests starting September 10th, 2026.
This release is coordinated globally, including Japan region, following the joint release schedule as outlined in this announcement.
