A new version has been released

Version 6 of ESET Remote Administrator (ERA) and ESET business products were released in North America December 11th, 2014, and globally February 25th, 2015. This article applies to version 5.x and earlier ESET business products. For information about what's new in the latest version and how to upgrade, see the following article:

In ESET Remote Administrator

There are two ways to migrate clients in ESET Remote Administrator (ERA) 5.x. We recommend the Policy migrationmethod for most users, however you can also perform a Configuration task migration. Expand the appropriate section below to view instructions for either method:

On individual client workstations

    1. Open ESET Endpoint Security. How do I open my ESET product?

    1. Press F5 to access advanced setup.

    1. Expand Tools → Remote administration.

  1. Type the IP address for your new primary server into the Server address field in the Primary server tab and then click OK.
