1. System requirements and installation prerequisites
- Verify that your operating systems and browsers are compatible with ESET PROTECT Cloud.
- Verify that all required ports are open and available in ESET Inspect Cloud and ESET PROTECT Cloud.
2. Import an eligible ESET Inspect Cloud license into EBA
- Business users – We recommend that you use ESET Business Account (EBA).
- Managed Service Providers (MSP) – We recommend using ESET MSP Administrator 2 (EMA 2).

3. Activate ESET Inspect Cloud using EBA or EMA 2
- Business (EBA) users – Activate ESET Inspect Cloud.
- MSP (EMA 2) – Activate ESET Inspect Cloud
4. Deploy the ESET Inspect Connector to client computers
- Deploy the ESET Inspect Connector using the All-in-one installer.
- Deploy ESET Inspect Connector using a software install task in ESET PROTECT Cloud.
5. Add exclusions to ESET Inspect Cloud on client computers
- Migrate exclusions from ESET Inspect on-premises to ESET Inspect Cloud
- Create exclusions in ESET Inspect and ESET Inspect Cloud
