You can use Policy Manager to change the regularly scheduled interval for virus signature updates on client workstations in ESET Remote Administrator by following the step-by-step instructions below:

- Open the ESET Remote Administrator Console (ERAC) by clicking Start All Programs ESET ESET Remote Administrator ConsoleESET Remote Administrator Console, or by double-clicking the ERAC icon on your desktop.
- From the ERAC menu, click Tools→ Policy Manager.
- Click Server Policy, and then click Edit.
- In ESET Configuration Editor, expand ESET Kernel→ Setup→ Scheduler/planner, click Scheduler/planner, and then click Edit.

Click the image to view larger in new window - In the Scheduled tasks window, click Default. Select Regular automatic update, and then click OK.

- Select the task you just created named 'Regular automatic update', click Edit, and then click Next.
- Enter a name for your event. To define how frequently the event will run, select the corresponding radio button from the Run the task field and click Next, and then set the time of execution for your task and click Nexttwice. Depending on which radio button you selected in the Run the task field, time of execution can be a specific date/time or a time interval between automatically recurring events.
- Click Finish, and then click OK to save the task.
Individual client workstations will now be updated according to the new interval set in ESET Remote Administrator.
