How do I change the Port number for my Enterprise Server?

Authors list

If you need to change the Port number being used by your Enterprise Server, then please follow these steps:

Step 1.

On the host machine where your Enterprise Server is installed, navigate to:

On 64-bit machines: C:\Program Files (x86)\DESlock+ HTTP\conf\

On 32-bit machines: C:\Program Files\DESlock+ HTTP\conf\

Step 2.

In this directory, open 'httpd.txt' with Notepad and search the document for Listen 80

Note: 80 is the default Port number used by the Enterprise Server.

Step 3.

Change Listen 80 to the Port number you wish to use. i.e. Listen 90

Then save and close the document.

Step 4.

Hold Win + R to open the Run dialog. Type services.msc and click OK

Step 5.

In the list of Services, locate DESlockHTTP and then right-click it. Select Restart from the menu to restart the Service.

This will restart the service with the new Port number specified. You do not need to change anything further on the Enterprise Server or DESlock+ client machines.
