- Open the ESET Remote Administrator Console by double-clicking the ESET Remote Administrator Console icon on your Desktop, or by clicking Start → All Programs → ESET → ESET Remote Administrator Console → ESET Remote Administrator Console.
- Click Tools → Policy Manager.
- Select the policy you want to modify and click Edit Policy.

Click the image to view larger in new window - Expand Windows desktop v5 → Kernel → Settings → Default user interface values.
- Select Suppress user settings: No and select the check box next to Value.

Click the image to view larger in new window - Select Display Alerts: Yes and deselect the check box next to Value. Repeat this step for all the following settings:
- Show splash-screen at startup
- Show tooltips
- Display notifications on desktop
- Display balloon tips in taskbar

Click the image to view larger in new window - Click OK to exit Policy Manager. These settings will be applied to the client workstations assigned to this policy the next time they check into ESET Remote Administrator. After the settings are applied, either the currently logged in user must log out, or the client workstation must be rebooted prior to the setting taking effect.
