Issue

- Install only certain components of ESET Endpoint Security on client workstation(s)
Solution
I. Create a component-based installation package
- Open the ESET Remote Administrator Console (ERAC) by clicking Start → All Programs → ESET → ESET Remote Administrator Console.

Figure 1-2
- Click Download From The Web and select the ESET security product that you want to push install (if you have already downloaded it, click the browse button to upload it). Make sure that the version number is current and that you have the correct package selected. This information is displayed in the MSI File Description field. Click Create.
Figure 1-3
- You can now use accepted command lines in the Edit/Clear command line associated with this package field to exclude certain ESET components from the installation (see the note below for command line parameters). In the example below (Figure 1-4), REMOVE=Firewall has been added, meaning that the Personal firewall for ESET Endpoint Security will not be installed on the selected client workstation(s).

- When you are finished configuring your installation package, click Save as, enter a name for your installation package (for example, ESS_Component) and then click Save.

II. Push the installation package out to client workstations
