Issue
- Update ESET credentials for a group of client workstations from the ESET Remote Administrator Console (ERAC)
Solution
Using Policy Manager (recommended):
- Open the ESET Remote Administrator Console by clicking Start → All Programs → ESET → ESET Remote Administrator Console → ESET Remote Administrator Console.
- Click Tools → ESET Policy Manager. In the Policy Manager window select your default policy and click Edit.

- Select Username and enter the updated username into the Value field.

- Select Password, click Set Password and enter your password into the fields provided. Click OK when you are finished.

- Click Console → Yes to save your changes. Click OK to exit Policy Manager.
Using a Configuration task (alternative method):
- Open the ESET Remote Administrator Console (ERAC) by double-clicking the ERAC icon on your Desktop or by clicking Start → All Programs → ESET → ESET Remote Administrator Console → ESET Remote Administrator Console.
- In the Clients pane, press and hold the Ctrl key and then click each client for which you want to update the Username and Password (if you want to update the credentials for all client workstations, right-click and select Select All from the context menu).
- Right-click a selected client workstation and select New Task → Configuration Task.

- Expand Windows desktop v5 → Update → Profile → Settings (see Figure 1-3).
- Select Username and enter the updated username into the Value field.

- Click Console to save your changes.
- Click Next, clik Next again in the Select Clients window and then click Finish. The client workstations that you selected for this task will automatically inherit it the next time they check in to ESET Remote Administrator.
