Solution

1. Open the ESET Remote Administrator Console (ERAC) by clicking Start → All Programs → ESET → ESET Remote Administrator Console → ESET Remote Administrator Console.

2. Click Tools → Policy Manager.

3. Select the policy that you want to modify (select your default policy to disable notifications on all client workstations) and click Edit.

4. Expand Windows desktop v5 → Kernel → Settings→ Advanced → Notify about missing OS updates from level.

5. Select No updates from the Value drop-down menu.

6. Click Console → Yes to save your changes. These settings will be applied the next time that computers assigned to this policy check into ESET Remote Administrator.

Disable notifications about Microsoft Windows updates on individual client workstations

1. Open ESET Endpoint Security or ESET Endpoint Antivirus. How do I open my ESET product?

1. Press the F5 key to open the Advanced setup window.

1. Expand Tools, click System updates, and then select No updates from the Notify about missing updates from level drop-down menu. 

1. Click OK to save your changes.
