A feature update of ESET Full Disk Encryption 2.4.4.0 has been released.

  • New: Added support for the Microsoft UEFI CA 2023 certificate, helping ensure compatibility with the latest platform security requirements.

  • Improved: Support for partition layout changes on encrypted disks. Including Windows 11 recovery partition resizing scenarios.

  • Improved: Ability to repair disk layout discrepancies, where the layout had been changed before support was introduced.

  • Improved: Updated product terminology to align with current ESET subscription and licensing terminology.

  • Improved: Improved service reliability during startup.

  • Fixed: Fixed several issues affecting encrypted secondary drives, including problems that could cause drives to become inaccessible after a restart or data corruption during encryption.

  • Fixed: Fixed an issue where automatic updates were not working.

  • Fixed: Fixed an issue where the encryption status of a device could be reported incorrectly by products using the OPSWAT integration, following an upgrade or repair.
