• Syslog Improvements

  • In this release, we are adding the option to send Audit Logs via Syslog and we also added extra fields that will be sent out as part of scan logs. Additionally, based on your feedback, you are now able to test the Syslog sending settings by sending a test log directly from the Settings page.

• ECOS Quarantine & Detections API now in ESET Connect

  • If you use APIs in your workflow, you are now able to perform actions with ECOS Quarantine and Detections via ESET´s API gateway - ESET Connect. For more information, please read the following documentation.

• Sender Columns and Filter for email logs on Detection, Quarantine and Scan Log screens

  • Following the addition of the "Sender" Field into the Email detail, we are now adding a dedicated Sender Column along with the filter into the Detections, Quarantine and Scan Log screens.

• Automatic Homoglyph Detection in Phishing emails.

  • We implemented the homoglyph attack detection ability for URL's. So if you receive an email with a forged URL resembling a well-known bank, insurance company, retailer or a shipping provider etc. that has some letters swapped for a similar looking letters from a different alphabet, trying to trick you into thinking it is legitimate, it would be automatically marked as a phishing.

• Updated Dashboard elements

  • You may notice updated UI components in the dashboard refreshing the overall look of the console.

  • Additional Time Period Options in the dropdown selector. "Today", "This Week", "Previous Week", "This Month" and "Previous Month" are now also available.
