A new feature has been introduced that enables macOS users to utilize a single product, eliminating the need to determine the appropriate one for their license. This modification allows customers that are using ESET Endpoint Antivirus to switch to ESET Endpoint Security version 8.0. The product will self-configure based on the license.
Our objective is to enhance user experience and simplify the product installation process. However, this change requires a transition.
Customers transitioning from ESET Endpoint Antivirus will need to re-enable Full Disk Access permissions and the Firewall system extension if their license tier includes ESET Endpoint Security.
This re-enabling can be accomplished in two ways:
Some users have already been automatically upgraded to ESET Endpoint Security version 8.0. The final wave of automatic upgrades is scheduled from September 2, 2024.

@Tim Waterschoot, dit klopt v8 zit nog niet in de ESET repository. Op dit moment is v8 alleen los te downloaden via de volgende link: https://download.eset.com/com/eset/apps/business/eea/mac/g2/latest/eea_osx.dmg
Ik verwacht overigens (geen belofte) dat Endpoint v8 for macOS begin september ook in de repository beschikbaar komt, waardoor je deze in PROTECT/installers kan aanmaken. Kwestie van geduld!
