ESET PROTECT version 5.4 has been released

ESET PROTECT version 5.4 has been released. The staged roll-out will begin on August 13, 2024. To check if your instance has been updated to the new version, refer to About ESET PROTECT.

  • ADDED: Ability to run On-demand scan for vulnerabilities

  • ADDED: New widgets and layout changes in the ESET MDR dashboard and reports

  • ADDED: New incident statuses in the ESET MDR dashboard and reports

  • ADDED: New notifications informing about changes in incident status and incidents that require user action (this requires a new version of ESET Inspect, aimed for release in the upcoming weeks)

  • ADDED: ESET MDR dashboard displayed to customers with ESET Inspect and without ESET MDR service

  • ADDED: Ability to get and update IP sets for policies via REST API based on the provided policy UUID

  • ADDED: Ability to turn on automatic installation and activation of a Windows security product

  • FIXED: RAM in the "Computer Preview" panel is stated as "n/a" instead of the correct value

  • FIXED: The option to create an installer for a selected group or company is missing in some cases

  • FIXED: Drilldown from the dashboard with data filtered for selected customers not working properly

  • FIXED: Remove company is not working correctly in specific MSP scenarios

  • FIXED: Unable to move client tasks between access groups when at least one trigger is removed

  • FIXED: Product deactivation is available for users with insufficient access rights on certain screens

  • FIXED: ESET Inspect Connector is not displayed under "Products & Licenses" on the Computer Details screen for macOS devices

  • Other minor improvements and bug fixes
